What Happens at a Health Check?

NHS Health Checks are free and take no longer than 30 minutes per employee. We will ask

questions about family history and current medications and record:

• Blood pressure
• Height, weight and BMI
• Cholesterol levels
• Blood sugar.

We also discuss lifestyle and offer tailored advice to help promote healthy activities such as diet and exercise and give tips on changes that could lower employee’s risk of suffering illness and disease in the future.
